Civil War Games!

While preparing my Civil War wrap-up this week I found a few fun items worth sharing.

Stumbled over this awesome button at PostModernBarney. Someone needs to get this on a T-shirt. (EDIT: "Cap Was Right" button is by Mark Hale. Thanks, Dorian.)

Meanwhile, Shane Bailey of Near-MintHeroes produces some propaganda with links back to the actual war posters that inspired them.

ExtraLife managed to squeeze a laugh out of Steve Roger's passing.

Newsarama's story on the "new" Captain America was dug 884 times at Digg.com on Wednesday.

The top comment comes from chocobomog:

"So the hero who represents America changed from a strong, moral, boy-scout who fought using defense (a shield) to a savage, crazed, gun-toting vigilante?

"I keep having a feeling that they are trying force some sort of message in our faces."
And, finally, what's an assassination without a good conspiracy theory?

Please note that the "Cap was right" buttons was designed by the brilliant Mark Hale.

And Cap was right. I wish he'd start a civil war to bring back sanity and good storytelling to comics.

Oh... I guess maybe that's why they shot him.

Thanks for the heads-up, Dorian. I'll be sure to let him know how cool it is if he doesn't already.

Joel, I'm inclined to believe the ice cream theory.

Hey, Johnny! Here's a cleaned up version of that image, since the one you're using was done in kind of a hurry before leaving for class. Thanks for spreading it around!
